Draconic Notions: Mission and Goals
About the Artist
My work is inspired by the tales of magic and fantasy I grew up on. I began drawing when I was little, doodling little dragons or fluffy critters in the margins of my notebooks or any loose pages of paper I could find. I am mainly self taught, with most of what I’ve learned being from years of practice, experimenting with different art mediums, and from art books my family would gift me.
We created Draconic Notions with the same mindset we have for all of our artwork: we create with the hope that we can help brighten someone's day. We hope the merchandise we create and offer will help someone continue to find a reason to smile and give them a bit of comfort in their day to day.
Personal Projects
In between working on commissions, adminning for The Sled Team, and now creating designs for merch; I am also working on a world building project. Though the project itself will be separate from merch, there are some merchandise ideas and plans that require portions of the project to be solidified before I can work on bringing them to life.
What is this project exactly? We're working on writing down the world and universe my OCs are from. This includes explaining how magick works there, describing various creatures one may encounter whether one adventures behind the veil or not, and lots of other information. The long term goal for the project is to get everything compiled into a ttrpg format, so that others may explore the worlds I've been dreaming of since I was very little.
As it currently stands, we are uncertain just how long this project will take to reach a finalized state as we are essentially building a tabletop game system and it's related universe from scratch. That being said, we're extremely excited to share it and would be happy to open the system for playtesting to folks once we are confident that all the information has been compiled and the system is ready for testing.
Income from merch here allows me to spend more time on progressing this project or improving my skills, and every bit given is always greatly appreciated.
